CENTERS FOR
PRIMARY CARE

To improve the health of our community, Medical
Center Health System has added new primary
care clinics to provide convenient, affordable
access to healthcare throughout Odessa. In
September 2014 MCHS opened two new
locations: the MCH Center for Primary Care –
West University and the MCH Center for Primary
Care – JBS Parkway.
The
Center for Primary Care – West
University
is a multipurpose facility located
at 6030 West University. This location has
provided needed care to a growing number of
families and employees in West Odessa. The
clinic includes the Family Health Clinic, similar to
the clinic located on Clements, and provides a
primary medical home for patients of all ages
as it includes physicians and nurse practitioners
who specialize in family medicine, pediatrics,
obstetrics/gynecology and optometry. This clinic
accepts most insurance, Medicare and Medicaid
and provides a sliding scale for uninsured
patients. MCHS also opened Urgent Care –
West University at this location to care for minor
injuries and illnesses seven days a week.
